Dear Democrats and NeverTrumpumpkins: after five years of demonization of Putin and Russia, are you happy now? You own this, and there's nothing your idiot president can do about it. Congratulations.

There's no doubt that it was reckless and dangerous to draft the world's second biggest nuclear power into the role of villain in a completely fictitious conspiracy theory just to play some dirty domestic politics. Hillary Clinton and the left and the NeverTrump left (they are on the left) got to demonize Trump for four years with their absurd conspiracy theory, but they were also demonizing Putin at the same time.

Did he appreciate that? Probably not. Maybe sometimes he was flattered at the idea he was literally running RUSSIAN AGENTS for president.

I think Putin would have invaded Ukraine anyway, as he had previously staged a Minor Incursion under the feckless Obama/Biden regime before the Hillary Clinton Russian collusion conspiracy.

But there's room for debate about that. And no, debate doesn't make you a Treasoner.

The left and NeverTrump sure did play recklessly with foreign policy when they choose to make America's "Number One Global Foe" the co-star of their completely fake conspiracy theory-- though they want you to forget that, and pretend that they're all Very Serious Foreign Policy Thinkers and Patriotic Statesmen.

Patriotic Statesmen who are willing to gamble on enraging an enemy nuclear power to get a PWN on a domestic political rival. That kind of Patriotic Statesmen.

A Patriotic Statesman like John McCain, for example, who used his contacts to infect the organs of the US government with this deranged partisan conspiracy theory psyop, which by the way recklessly jeopardized relations with the number two nuclear power in the world, in order to vindicate a private grudge because his ego and vanity were as large as his stature was stunted.

Michael Walsh's latest book, Last Stands: Why Men Fight When All Is Lost, seems more and more to be required reading. I own it, but I need to finally dig in.
